In 2022, I was a successful attorney with a “dream job” at a large Amlaw 200 law firm, providing legal counsel to business owners all over the nation.
I was supposed to feel satisfied. I was supposed to feel happy.
I was supposed to feel something . . .
. . . But I didn’t.
On my best days, I felt lost, lonely, and uninspired. On my worst days, I was surviving on adrenaline and cortisol, while the real me was dying a slow and painful death.
Something was missing.
Something was missing when the people I most love to serve cannot afford my fees.
Something was missing when the pursuit of freedom at the top of the corporate ladder only created more profound constraint.
Something was missing when my mission to help entrepreneurs start, manage, and grow their own businesses became so much more expansive than what a traditional legal platform could support.
Something was missing as I continued to split and shrink myself for the sake of so-called job security, unable to operate in my intuitive, heart-centered, creative power.
After years trying to find a way to find my freedom and fill the void, I finally realized I would never find it . . . because I was meant to create it.
And so I did.
Now, I am living my dreams—personally and professionally—and the greatest gift I know as a founder is seeing other female entrepreneurs stepping into the their power and living their dreams as well.
